Angalasoq 2020

Now the audience in Nuuk can experience a different theater experience "Angalasoq".

Theater manager Susanne Andreasen says: "In a time when the whole world has changed due to the corona crisis and everyone has learned what COVID-19 is, we at Nunatta Isiginnaartitsisarfia are forced by the circumstances to think new, and we see this as a great opportunity . We have seized the chance to work in a field of artistic development and create a work that is inspired by the sensory theater and that engages in dialogue with the present. We call the project Angalasoq.”

"Angalasoq" is not a theater performance as we know it. It is an experience space for the audience that is open for a certain period of time, perhaps it can be compared to a labyrinth or similar installations that the audience visits in small groups. The form is taken from the sensory theater and the audience gets to use all their senses and imagination in a kind of journey through life.
