The whole family, regardless of age, is welcome to The National Theatre of Greenland that visited by the professional dancers who performes "Allaanerulaartoq" (which means "something a little difference"). The choreography of the performance and movements are created by dancers and the choreographer, based on ideas and images that the students in 2.B from the Kangillinguit school in Nuuk have come up with.

"We have taken different characters, stories, images and movements as our starting point, and based on them we have created the performance Allaanerulaartoq. The children have also had an influence on the costumes, scenography and music," says Lava Markusson, who is the choreographer behind the performance.

On the stage stands three dancers Michael Tang, Sarah Aviaaja Hammeken and Lava Markusson. The movements of the dancers creates a physical journey with different animals in focus. The audience on the set can meet different kind of reindeers, a couple of penguins and an enchanted unicorn. But maybe you don't recognize them at first glance, and that's not the most important thing either. The performance can be interpreted in many ways and the goal is to stimulate the audience's imagination and give them the opportunity to create their own stories and thoughts.
