Angakkussaq, is a development story that follows a young shaman named Pitu as he learns to use his powers and ultimately finds himself lost in the spirit world. After a strange and violent snowstorm, Pitu is left stranded on the sea ice without his dog crate or weapons to defend himself, and he soon realizes that he is no longer in the world he once knew. The storm has led him into the world of spirits, a world populated with terrifying creatures - black wolves with red eyes, scrupulous and constantly pursuing him; water-dwelling creatures who only want to grab him and drag him into the icy sea through a crack in the ice. As well as creatures that are less terrifying but just as incredible, like a lone giant who can carry Pitu in his hand and keeps reindeer and polar bears as pets. After accidentally meeting a fellow shaman who has been trapped in the spirit world for many years, Pitu must gather and master all his shamanic powers to return to the living world, to his family and to the girl he loves.
