Angalasoq 2021

The Traveler is not a theater performance as we know it. It is an experience room for the audience. The inspiration comes from the sensory theatre. The audience gets to use their senses and imagination in a kind of journey through life.

In the sensory theater there are no actors - there are 'residents' and there are no audiences - there are 'travellers'. That is why in Angalasoq we put the audience at the center of the experience, it is their journey both in a concrete and figurative sense that is in focus. The audience's senses are as important as their brains when they come to visit an imaginary space designed to "listen" to the visitors rather than narrative instruments.
