Why set up an Italian monologue in Greenland with an act from China?

For the Chinese, a tiger is something else and more than just an "overgrown stray cat". The tiger is the symbol of courage. A sign of daring to stand alone against the majority, to trust oneself and not compromise with anything or anyone.

After the Communists took power in China in 1949, a story like the one you are about to see, TIGER, became popular among people. The main character of the story is not the soldier, who apparently tells about himself, but the tiger.

Tiger is first and foremost a hilarious comedy in monologue form. Dario Fo has been repeatedly denied entry to the United States and has been censored by the Italian authorities throughout his life.

Dario Fo received the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1997. Dario Fo is a real TIGER.
